Southworth PC Proudly Sponsors Feed the DMV

This Saturday, December 20th, Southworth PC is proud to sponsor Feed the DMV in partnership with Radio One DC. This is a community food drive focused on something simple and urgent: helping make sure families across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area have food on the table.

As a law firm that represents federal employees nationwide, we spend every day working with people who serve the public under real pressure and real stress. Supporting Feed the DMV is our way of showing up locally, in person, and with gratitude for the community that so many federal employees call home.

The drive will take place at multiple Giant Food locations throughout the DMV on Saturday, December 20th, with staggered times so people can participate throughout the day.

From 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., donations will be collected at the Giant located at 3521 East-West Highway, Hyattsville, Maryland 20782.

From 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., there will be a collection at the Giant located at 10480 Campus Way South, Largo, Maryland 20774.

From 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., donations will be accepted at the Giant located at 810 Fairmont Drive, Bowie, Maryland 20716.

We are collecting canned goods, boxed food, and bottled water, all of which will be donated to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank. You do not need to bring a large donation to make a meaningful impact. A few items, a single bag, or even just stopping by to show support helps more than most people realize.

Shaun Southworth and Lydia Taylor will be at locations throughout the day to participate, say thank you, and support the effort alongside volunteers and members of the community.

Feed the DMV is about more than food. It is about community, dignity, and neighbors helping neighbors during a time when many families are stretched thin. Federal employees understand that responsibility deeply, because public service does not end when the workday does.

If you are able to participate, we would love to see you. If you cannot attend in person, consider sharing this information with a coworker, friend, or family member who might be able to help.

Southworth PC is honored to support Feed the DMV and the Capital Area Food Bank, and we are grateful to Radio One DC and all the volunteers making this possible. Together, we can make a real, tangible difference right here in our community.
